BIG BEAR LAKE, Calif. (KABC) -- A small earthquake with a magnitude of 3.0 rattled the Big Bear City area early Thursday morning.

The temblor struck four miles north of Big Bear City, six miles north northeast of Big Bear Lake and 11 miles southeast of Lucerne Valley around 12:17 a.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
