There have been some big allegations against a popular hair care product that's been endorsed by countless celebrities.

Wen promises to strengthen hair, but more than 200 people - mostly women - are now suing claiming it actually made them go bald.

WPVI-TV reached out to the the law firm handling the class action lawsuit, who provided us with some photos.

People in 40 different states say the product, which is described as a natural, cleansing conditioner, caused baldness, rashes, scalp irritation, hair breakage and hair discoloration.

The products are designed and sold by Hollywood stylist Chaz Dean and Guthy-Renker and sell for about $30 dollars a bottle.

A spokesperson for Wen says there's no scientific evidence to support these claims and adds: "We intend to vigorously contest the allegations made against our products."
