Sex offender arrested for indecent exposure at Ventura library

VENTURA, Calif. (KABC) -- A registered sex offender was arrested for allegedly exposing himself to a juvenile girl at a Ventura library, police said.

According to investigators, the girl was at the Ventura Avenue Library at 606 N. Ventura Ave. on Jan. 26 when the suspect exposed his genitals to her.

Upon investigation, detectives identified the suspect as 21-year-old David Paul Sanchez of Ventura.

Three days following the incident, police arrested Sanchez at his home in the 200 block of Rosewood Street. He was taken into custody without incident and booked at the Ventura County Jail for indecent exposure.
