Driver flees after slamming SUV into Montclair home

MONTCLAIR, Calif. (KABC) -- The driver behind the wheel of a white SUV lost control and slammed into a vacant house in Montclair Wednesday night, and police say he and a male passenger then fled from the scene.

The crash occurred in the 9600 block of Pradera Avenue around 11 p.m.

No one was hurt, police said, and the house was unoccupied at the time. Witnesses reported seeing two men running away.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information was asked to contact the Montclair Police Department.
