1 injured in shooting at Compton Carl's Jr. restaurant

COMPTON, Calif. (KABC) -- One person was injured when someone opened fire at a Carl's Jr. restaurant in Compton.

The gunfire erupted shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday at Central Avenue and Artesia Boulevard.

It's not clear if the shooting happened inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.

The victim was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.

Police have not caught the shooter and a motive was unknown.
