UCLA police seek suspect in sexual assault of female student

WESTWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Police are looking for a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a female student on the University of California, Los Angeles campus.

The incident occurred in the woman's residence hall around 2:30 a.m. Friday.

UCLA police described the suspect as an Asian man, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 155 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Investigators say the victim knows the suspect, but authorities are still asking anyone with information about the assault to contact campus police at (310) 825-1491.
