The incident took place at Shop and Go Liquor in the 13600 block of Euclid Street Tuesday morning.
Police said after the two men yanked off the store doors using a white van, they tried to steal the ATM but failed. The thieves ended up stealing an unknown amount of California Lottery Scratchers.
Just one week prior on May 16, a similar theft occurred at Hanshaw's Liquor just about a mile away.

Authorities used surveillance video of the incidents as well as footage of the suspects trying to redeem the scratcher tickets to aid their investigation.
Garden Grove police and deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department served a search warrant at a home in Compton, where several of the suspects were living.
Authorities arrested two men - Daniel Soto, 35, and Emanuel Quintero, 33. The search continues for two more suspects - Augustin Gutierrez, 22, and Juan Carlos Meza, 35.
