Suspect sought after man stabbed to death in Pacoima

PACOIMA, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A man was stabbed to death in Pacoima early Wednesday morning, and authorities are searching for a suspect.

The incident happened around midnight near La Rue Street and Tamarack Avenue. Authorities found a male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he died.

Detectives were searching the scene for evidence and a suspect, but did not release a description. By Wednesday afternoon, authorities had detained a man and detectives questioned him.

The investigation was ongoing.
