Girl, 17, killed in rollover crash in Tujunga; 3 others hospitalized

TUJUNGA, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A rollover crash in Tujunga on Thursday night left a 17-year-old girl dead and three other people hospitalized, authorities said.

A caller reported the single-vehicle incident at 10:20 p.m. in the area of La Tuna Canyon Road and Tujunga Canyon Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department's Valley Traffic Division. The intersection is just east of the Verdugo Hills Golf Course.

The deceased girl was a passenger in the vehicle, an LAPD spokesperson said.

Two other passengers were also 17. One of them suffered broken bones and was in serious condition; the other teen was in stable condition, police said. The driver's condition was unknown.

No other information was immediately available.
