DUARTE, Calif. (KABC) -- A man armed with a gun robbed two 7-Elevens within 10 minutes of each other on Sunday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies said the suspect first entered a 7-Eleven on Huntington Drive in Duarte at about 1:45 a.m.

Authorities stated the man walked through the store, grabbed an item from a shelf, placed it on the counter and pulled a gun on the cashier.

After robbing the store, deputies said the suspect left and went to the 7-Eleven on Rosemead Boulevard in Pasadena at about 1:55 a.m.

The sheriff's department said the suspect again walked through the store, grabbed an item from the shelf, placed it on the counter and pulled a gun on the store clerk.

Officials described the man as being between the ages of 21 and 25, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 165 to 175 pounds with short black hair and a light mustache.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black Adidas shoes with white stripes.
