Los Angeles National Cemetery pays tribute on Veterans Day
Many gathered at the Los Angeles National Cemetery to pay tribute to veterans on Veterans Day.

WEST LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Many attended a wreath-laying ceremony at the Los Angeles National Cemetery for a Veterans Day tribute.

All events during the parade and ceremony honored the veterans who have served.

Some veterans said a simple acknowledgment when they wear their service hat can go a long way.

The Field of Valor honors veterans at Sierra Vista School in Covina.

"Makes me feel good, the fact that they recognize it. There are so many that see it, recognize it and just keep right on walking," Vietnam War veteran Jack McDermitt said.
