SoCal women fear friends did not survive Oakland warehouse fire
LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Two Southern California women Sunday still did not know if two friends survived the deadly Oakland structure fire, which has killed at least 24 people. Several were still missing in the rubble of the converted warehouse.
Clinging to hope and each other, Anneka Hiatt and Radhika Hersey were searching for any information they can find on the deadly Oakland warehouse fire and their missing friends.
"I'm seriously just still kind of in disbelief, and I'm...holding on to the hope that maybe there's a section of the building that somehow they'll be found," shared a nervous Hersey.

Musician and DJ Barrett Clark and Travis Hough were among the more than two dozen missing.
Hough, who is an art therapist for inner city kids, texted his girlfriend just before 11:30 p.m. saying "baby, there's a fire." His phone hasn't worked since.
"He's such a creative and loving person. I can't tell you how many adventures we've had, and I really hope that he's OK," Hersey added.
The electronic music party inside the artists' warehouse was promoted by Los Angeles' 100% Silk.
In a statement, the company said it is in disbelief and is praying for the families.
The statement read: "What happened in Oakland is an unbelievable tragedy, a nightmare scenario. We are a very tight community of artists and we are all praying, sending love and condolences to everyone involved and their families."
Hiatt and Hersey said they feel trapped in nightmare, waiting for word, knowing so many lives may have been lost.
"It's just such a shame because the people that I knew personally, and the people that I'm learning about that I didn't know, just seem like they had so much potential and good... and it's sad," cried Hiatt, wiping tears running down her cheeks.
