In this surveillance video released by Gardena police, murder victim Andy Portillo is seen walking home with two women as another man on foot and a slow-moving SUV follow them.

GARDENA, Calif. (KABC) -- Gardena police are looking for the public's help in solving the homicide of a 26-year-old man who was shot to death as he was walking home on Sept. 25.

Andy Portillo was killed in the 1900 block of 152nd Street around 12:48 a.m.

Police say surveillance footage shows Portillo walking home with two women. As they walk by, another man is seen on foot behind them, while a four-door SUV moves slowly down the street.

Police say the man then got into the SUV and they continued following Portillo and the two women.

A short time later, the SUV parked and the man got out. He ran toward Portillo and the two women and opened fire with a handgun, killing him, police said. The two women ran with the man back into the waiting SUV and they fled together.
