Smelly surprise left for Riverside package thief

RIVERSIDE, Calif. (KABC) -- A homeowner offered a smelly surprise to get some payback on a porch pirate.

The suspect was caught on video casually walking up to a Riverside house, swiping a package and walking away. He then got on a bicycle and pedaled off.

What he didn't know was the homeowner had left a box full of dog poop to get revenge on potential package thieves.

Riverside police are looking for the man.
