17-year-old boy shot to death in Lincoln Heights

LINCOLN HEIGHTS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A search is underway for whoever shot and killed a 17-year-old boy in Lincoln Heights.

The teen was shot at Avenue 28 and Barranca Street around 2 p.m. Sunday. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but did not survive.

Police have not released a suspect description nor a possible motive. The shooting was under investigation.
