Motorcyclist killed in early-morning crash on 22 Freeway in Orange County

GARDEN GROVE (KABC) -- A motorcyclist died after a crash early Tuesday morning on the eastbound 22 Freeway at Harbor Boulevard in Garden Grove, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Officials say the crash happened just before 3 a.m.

It led to a closure of all lanes on the eastbound Garden Grove Freeway in Orange County for nearly an hour.

No details were immediately available about the cause of the crash or identity of the motorcyclist.
