3.1-magnitude earthquake strikes near Gorman

LEBEC, Calif. (KABC) -- An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.1 struck near the Gorman area on Wednesday.

The temblor occurred around 12:41 p.m. approximately 4.3 miles northwest of Gorman and 2 miles west-northwest of Lebec, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

There were no reports of any damage or injuries.
