DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- These days, Los Angeles is overflowing with pop-up art exhibits.
The Museum of Broken Relationships, the Museum of Ice Cream, Happy Place - and now the Museum of Failure is hoping to succeed in the Arts District.
It's the work of Swedish psychologist Dr. Samuel West, who's made a career out of studying major marketing failures.
His message: Don't be afraid to fail. In fact, when you do, embrace it.
"I wouldn't say that I'm pro-failure," West said. "But when we do fail, let's accept that we fail and talk about it and be able to learn from it."
On display at the museum, one of the biggest marketing busts of all time, the Ford Edsel.
The McDonald's Arch-Deluxe is highlighted, as is a university founded by a certain president.
And don't forget the XFL, birthday cake-flavored Oreos and Crystal Pepsi.
"It's actually a celebration of failure," said Martin Biallas, the pop-up's producer.
"Everybody has problems every day and we make wrong decisions and we fail, but guess what; the big guys do that too!"
The Museum of Failure officially opens this weekend and runs through Feb. 4. Admission is $15.
