With Christmas fast approaching, last-minute shoppers are packing the malls looking to cross those final names off their gift lists.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- If you haven't finished your holiday shopping yet, you are not alone. The last minute holiday retail rush is officially here.

Shopping centers are filled with last-minute shoppers who are dealing with the stress and excitement of still being able to find that perfect gift for the last few people on their list.

Retailers are also offering deep discounts to attract customers.

Inglewood resident Anthony Antonio said he tried to avoid shopping by ordering gifts online, but still found himself in the middle of the holiday chaos.

"Someone lost our packages in the mail. They never got there so last minute I have to go look for it personally myself you know," Antonio said. "It's been a burden, a headache, traffic."

Other shoppers, like Los Angeles resident Lashonna Smith, enjoyed getting out and hitting the stores.

"It's always good to be out with family, so it does get me into the Christmas spirit," Smith said.

Stores are open around the clock, opening up early and staying open late, giving you extra time to complete your shopping.

Department store chain Kohl's is even open 24 hours a day until Christmas Eve.

The company started its 24-hour operations at 7 a.m. Thursday. Kohl's stores will remain open until Sunday at 6 p.m.

The chain is also offering free in-store pick up, with most orders ready in two hours or less.
