SEAL BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- Two men in their 20s are being sought after an armed robbery that occurred late Tuesday morning at a bank in Seal Beach, authorities said.

Officers responded shortly before 11:30 a.m. to a Chase branch in the 800 block of Pacific Coast Highway, where the two robbers had approached a teller window and demanded money, according to the Seal Beach Police Department.

"Based on witness statements, one of the suspects brandished a large knife," police said in a news release, adding that the men then fled the scene on foot.

No injuries were reported, and it was unclear how much money may have been taken.

Responding officers searched the area but no suspects were found.

Both robbers are described as white with thin builds. They each wore a blue jumpsuit with white writing on the front left chest, investigators said. One of them wore a camouflage hat with white writing.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Seal Beach police Detective Jeff Gibson at (562) 799-4100, ext. 1109.
