DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (KABC) -- Three businesses at a small Diamond Bar strip mall were broken into, and police are searching for the suspect or suspects responsible.

The glass on the doors were shattered at the businesses, which are located in the 20900 block of Golden Springs Drive. Sheriff's deputies were called to the scene after several security alarms went off at approximately 2 a.m. Thursday.

When deputies arrived, they found the front doors smashed in at an animal hospital, pet grooming store and a foot spa. The three businesses are located right next each other.

The foot spa has working surveillance cameras inside the establishment. The surveillance footage shows a suspect in a ski mask and gloves entering the business after throwing a brick through the front door.

The suspect rummaged through the front desk and even turned on lights to walk into the back offices.

It was not immediately clear whether anything was taken from the locations.

The owners of the businesses said the break-ins cost them a day of business and their sense of security.

The investigation was ongoing. If you have any information about this case, you're urged to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
