LA opening new dog park in Eagle Rock

EAGLE ROCK, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Dog owners and their four-legged friends can hardly wait.

City leaders broke ground Saturday on a new dog park in Eagle Rock.

It's something the community has been fighting to get for years.

The three-quarter acre park will be located next to the Eagle Rock Recreation Center.

This is the 10th official city dog park in Los Angeles.

It's due to open in spring of next year.
