Visalia man says another man knowingly gave him HIV
Investigators have confirmed another person is accusing a man with strong Valley ties of knowingly transmitting HIV.

FRESNO, Calif. -- Investigators have confirmed another person is accusing a man of knowingly transmitting HIV.

KSFN first reported the San Diego City Attorney's Office was investigating Thomas Guerra for intentionally getting people sick in January. Now the Tulare County District Attorney's office says another man has come forward in Visalia claiming Guerra infected him in September.

Prosecutors say there isn't enough evidence to charge Guerra at this point but they are asking anyone else who believes they are a victim to come forward.

"For a felony charge there is a three year statute of limitations, should any new evidence develop that could change that decision and we would take another look at it," said assistant District Attorney Daniel Underwood.

Guerra is expected in a San Diego courtroom in January to face charges of transmitting the virus.
