FONTANA, Calif. (KABC) -- A student was struck by a vehicle in front of Truman Middle School in Fontana but was expected to be OK.
The incident was reported at 7:11 a.m. in the 16200 block of Mallory Drive. The sixth grader was in a crosswalk at the time.
The student was able to stand up and was responsive but was transported as a precaution to a local hospital, the school district said.
The driver stopped and was cooperative with school police.
