SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (KABC) -- The San Bernardino Police Department is investigating two people who may have been involved in the disappearance of 22-year-old Sahray Barber.

Barber was last seen on her way to work at the Art Institute in San Bernardino on March 9. Barber's laptop and cellphone were discovered in bushes near her apartment under suspicious circumstances.

"The personal items that were found in the bushes are in the bushes, but they're not in there like they were thrown in there," Lawhead said. "They're not in there like they're broken or anything else. It's almost like they were placed there."

A vigil was held at the Art Institute in San Bernardino in honor of 22-year-old Sahray Barber Friday, March 13, 2015.

Hundreds of people gathered at the Art Institute hoping for her safe return Friday night. Attendees say they wanted the event to be less of a vigil, and more of a celebration of her life.

Barber is described as a white female, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, 125 pounds, with long red-brown straight hair and green eyes.

Police say the woman's disappearance is not related to two recent assaults at California State University San Bernardino.

Anyone with information is urged to call the San Bernardino Police Department Investigations Bureau at (909) 384-5615.
