Fireworks prank at Menifee school injures students

MENIFEE, Calif. (KABC) -- Five students were taken to a local hospital after a fireworks prank at Ethan Chase Middle School in Menifee on Friday.

Authorities responded to the school at 28100 Calm Horizon Dr. just after 11 a.m.

Thirteen other students had minor injuries and were released to their parents.
