6 seriously injured in Lake Balboa multi-vehicle crash

LAKE BALBOA, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Six people were seriously injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Lake Balboa Sunday night, officials said.

Firefighters said three patients were in critical condition and three were in serious condition. Several people had to be extricated from the vehicles.

The crash happened around 7:15 p.m. in the area of the 16900 block of West Strathern Street.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
