1 injured in deputy-involved shooting in North Hills

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department homicide detectives were investigating Monday a deputy-involved shooting in the North Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles.

The shooting was reported shortly before 5:50 p.m. at Victory Boulevard and Woodley Avenue. The suspect was struck and taken to a hospital. His condition was unknown.

No deputies were injured. It was unclear what led up to the shooting.

Metro Orange Line buses were temporarily rerouted from the area. Officials warned travelers of a slight delay.
