VIDEO: Dancing man swipes purse from Philadelphia restaurant

PHILADELPHIA -- A man was caught on surveillance video stealing a purse inside a Center City restaurant - then dancing away.

The incident happened July 26 at the Entree BYOB Restaurant located on the 1600 block of South Street.

Surveillance video shows the thief walking into the restaurant around 12:40 a.m. with a female companion.

As she heads into the restroom, he waits around for a few seconds before casually grabbing the purse.

He then dances before stuffing the purse down the front of his pants.

Police describe the suspect as a male with a tattoo on the back of his neck and on the back of his left leg.

The woman who was with him is being called a person of interest.
