18-year-old man shot at Pomona apartment complex

POMONA, Calif. (KABC) -- An 18-year-old man was shot at an apartment complex in Pomona early Saturday.

The shooting occurred in the 900 block of W. 9th Street at about 12:35 a.m.

Responding police officers located the victim in the courtyard of the complex suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso.

The victim, identified as David Aguilar, was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.

The suspect allegedly got into a gray, four-door sedan, which had three to four occupants, following the shooting and fled the scene west on 9th Street.
