Police seek public's help in San Bernardino shooting death

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (KABC) -- Police are asking for the public's help in the shooting death of a San Bernardino man Tuesday.

Police responded to the call around 1 a.m. at the 800 block of North Dallas Avenue when they found a 52-year-old man shot.

The victim, Leonard Hernandez, was transported to the hospital and later died of his injuries, according to authorities.

Officials from the San Bernardino Police Department Homicide Detail said they had extremely limited information as to what happened during the shooting.
