LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Our Pet of the Week on Thursday, Dec. 17, is a 7-year-old male Dachshund and Chihuahua mix named Captain. Please give him a loving home!

Sweet and gentle Captain recently recovered from an attack by a dog that went loose at the Agoura Animal Shelter and would love to be a part of a loving home.

He enjoys cuddlig and sitting in laps and is comfortable with other small dogs.
