15-month-old girl possibly abducted by parents; police believe child taken to Las Vegas

MORENO VALLEY, Calif. (KABC) -- Detectives with the Moreno Valley Police Department are asking for the public's help to find a 15-month-old girl and her parents who may have abducted her.

At 9 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to a report of a parental abduction in the 2400 block of Horton Court in Moreno Valley.

According to authorities, officers were able to investigate leads that led them to believe the child, Teulia Leomiti-Reed, was taken to Las Vegas by her parents, Sadie Leomiti and Nathan Reed.

Detectives are looking for Teulia and her 19-year-old mother. Police do not believe Teulia is any imminent danger.

Teulia is described as a Samoan and black baby girl with brown hair and brown eyes. Her mother is described as Samoan, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 240 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Investigators are in contact with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department in an effort to locate Teulia and her parents.
