Man shot to death in Arcadia; investigation underway

ARCADIA, Calif. (KABC) -- A homicide investigation is underway in Arcadia after a man was shot to death in the 1000 block of South 5th Avenue on Sunday.

Arcadia police responded to a report of possible gun shots and found a male adult suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso around 9 a.m.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released. Investigators said the man had no identification on him when he was found.

The investigation is ongoing. Authorities canvassed the neighborhood to find witnesses or homes with surveillance video to piece together what happened.
