Thieves had been targeting SUVs, pickups
MANHATTAN BEACH Officers found two recently-removed catalytic converters in the trunk of a car that they pulled over Sunday.

The vehicle's occupants were reportedly exhibiting strange behavior regarding the scattered wrenches and other tools discovered in their possession.

The thieves had been targeting SUVs and pickup trucks, and would work at night time to remove the parts.

The suspects are Raul Martinez, 36 and Martin Marrick, 45, both from Huntington Park, as well as Los Angeles resident Jonathan Lopez, 30.
