Vitamin C may lower stroke risk

(KABC) Scientists studied more than 20,000 people between the ages of 40 and 79 from the United Kingdom.

They found that over the years, those with the highest concentrations of Vitamin C in their blood had a 42 percent lower risk of stroke than people with the lowest levels.

Researchers say this is just an association and that those with a lower risk may simply live a healthier lifestyle.
