Red meat and diet soda apparently are not a good mix for your diet. In fact, researchers say too much of both can lead to heart disease and diabetes.A new study showed two or more servings of meat a day increases your risk of suffering from several risk factors known as metabolic syndrome. Those symptoms include excessive fat around the waist, high cholesterol, blood sugar, and blood pressure.

Researchers say diet soda also had the same elevated risk factors, echoing findings from a previous study.
