Moderate exercise can prolong men's life

(KABC) Government researchers studied information on more than 15,000 men who had a treadmill test. Men who were categorized as "moderately fit" had about a 20 percent lower risk for death than "low-fit" men.

Scientists say it shows brisk walking 30 minutes a day, four-to-six days a week, is enough to cut the risk from premature death from all causes.

The study will be published in next month's issue of Circulation.
