Experts: Don't let cold stop exercise

(KABC) Health experts say exercising in the cold may be better and safer than working out in warmer weather.

Researchers with the American College of Sports Medicine say more people are injured while exercising in hot weather than in cold weather.

However, doctors warn that if you do exercise in cold weather, dressing is key, Once you stop exercising, your body temperature drops very quickly and that becomes dangerous.
