DOWNEY (KABC) The tearful reunion took place Sunday night outside the family's house in Downey. The child was taken earlier in the night after his father parked his Mercedes outside the house. Police say three armed men came up to him and stole the car.
They say the father begged for the suspects to let him get his son, but the men took off with the child still inside the car. He was found about an hour-and-a-half later on the side of the road.
Authorities are still looking for the suspects and the Mercedes.
