SOUTH GATE (KABC) Forty-five-year-old Ruben Monarrez of Pasadena was standing on the northbound 710 just south of Firestone Blvd. when he was hit about 11 p.m. He was waiting for a tow truck to take away his pickup that had a flat tire.
