Torrance police told the Daily Breeze that Mitchell was arrested when she went to the Torrance police station to be interviewed about the charges.
Police said an anonymous tipster led them to question the boy, but officers refused to provide any details about the nature of the relationship.
But they said they suspect the boy was the only victim.
