2nd L.A. hospital faces threat of closure

LOS ANGELES The L.A. Times reports the federal government plans to cite Harbor UCLA Medical Center for placing patients in jeopardy due to overcrowding and long waits in the emergency room.

The citation has not yet been formally delivered.

This comes six months after the county closed everything but the outpatient clinics at King-Harbor Hospital in Willowbrook.
