Belgian chocolate makers fret over V Day

BRUSSELS, Belgium They are waiting to see if people are willing to spend their Euros on the chocolate. They are worried about profits because of declining tourism, the falling U.S. dollar, and the rising costs of raw materials.

The cost for an 18-ounce box of Belgian chocolates is about $40 U.S. dollars.

Chocolate makers say because they were forced to raise their prices, they think Belgians will be sending flowers instead.
