Police arrived on-scene in response to an attempted robbery call. When police arrived, they say the suspect was unresponsive to English and Spanish commands to surrender. Then he pointed his gun at officers, causing them to shoot, investigators said.
The suspect was a Hispanic man who allegedly robbed three people. The man was transported to the hospital where he died of a single gunshot wound to his chest.
The suspect did not fire his weapon.
Police are now investigating if lethal force was justified. Neighbors and witnesses were interviewed on-scene.
