Eddie Murphy wins three Razzies for 'Norbit'

February 23, 2008 12:00:00 AM PST
Eddie Murphy pulls a hat trick at the Razzie Awards. The actor/comedian won three of the dubious accolades for his performances in 2007's "Norbit": worst actor, supporting actor and supporting actress.

Worst-actress honors went to Lindsay Lohan for her portrayal of twins in the violent psychological thriller, "I Know Who Killed Me."

Murphy's triple-threat in "Norbit" showcased his performance of a nerdy former orphan in the title role, the character's battle-ax of a wife as well as the comedian's take on an elderly Asian man.

The Golden Raspberry Award--or 'Razzies' are held annually.

Past winners include Halle Berry for "Catwoman" and comedian Tom Green for 2001's "Freddie Got Fingered."
