Gov. pushes for infrastructure spending

WASHINGTON Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell along with New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg will team up with Gov. Schwarzenegger at the National Governors Association in Washington D.C.

In January, it was announced that the three politicians would collaborate to encourage federal financial assistance on mass transit, roads and bridges as well as water projects.

Their goal: to have the $1.6 trillion allocated for rebuilding the outmoded infrastructure.
