Los Angeles City Councilwoman Janice Hahn will be in attendance.
"Randy Simmons was truly an amazing person," said Hahn. "He was an exemplary officer and a great husband and father."
Simmons was the first SWAT officer to die in the line of duty. He was gunned down during a standoff with a shooter in Winnetka.
