Eating breakfast keeps teens lean

A study done by the University of Minnesota found that teens who eat breakfast are healthier than those who don't and they weigh less.The study tracked eating patterns of teens for five years.

Those who always skipped breakfast on average weighed about five pounds more than their peers who ate the meal every day.

Researchers say that by filling their stomachs in the morning, breakfast eaters may control their appetite better throughout the day.
