Police searching for missing girl

Police are asking for the public's help to find a young woman, missing since Tuesday, who is in need of seizure medication.Christina Marie Ramirez, 18, was last seen Tuesday at 1:45 p.m. leaving Sylmar High School.

Officials say that Ramirez has the mental capacity of an 11-year-old and suffers from multiple seizures and is need of medication.

Ramirez is described as a Hispanic female who is 5' 6" and weighs 170 pounds. She has blond hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black sweater, orange Capri pants and was carrying a backpack.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Christina Ramirez is asked to call the Mission Area Watch Commander at (818) 838-9800. On weekends and during off-hours, call the 24-hour, toll free anonymous tip line at 1-877-LAWFULL (529-3855).
